CHEF RECIPE , WESTERN STALL

out of so many dishes, this is my only favourite with repeated order. Ha! i just love the way how they do the fried rice with full of wok hei (smoky aroma created from the wok!) its so satisfying! the grilled chicken chop are tender and in - fuse with their own home - made flavour seasoning. its so tasty and savoury. even without any sauce on it, it taste so good though! it cost $6 with an egg too! a hearty meal after a hard day's work is quite rewarding. must - try!!

FISH SOUP PORRIDGE STALL

the thing which makes me go back to this stall repeatedly are the soup and their freshly slice fish. Its thick , firm and smooth in texture. the soup base is kinda amazing and can taste the original sweetness and the authenticity. before they complete in the piping hot pot just right before they pour into your serving  bowl, they will add a spoonful of sauce (still doing research what sauce is that, kinda yellowish.) i suspect is that sauce that enhance the whole new level of experience in this bowl of fish soup porridge. with some bird eye chili added in the porridge, woah ho! ho! let's get ready to rumble the sweat! Ha! especially rainy day, this is the one i will have in mind for lunch or dinner.

CZE CHAR STALL
6250 9553 (CALL FOR ADVANCE ORDER)

every cze char stall, the most basic dish which i will try out is hor fun. good or bad, will base on this to justify their skills. to my own honest opinion, the hor fun is just okay in the borderline of 50/50. most of the noodles and rice related had tried them all except this, san lou hor ( fish slice hor fun )
had tried this 2 times to confirm the consistency. Unfortunately, it failed the 2nd time. the first time i tried it won the battle from my heart! because the wok hei is so strong and I'm just loving it. this portion i had is $8. if I'm not forgotten the minimum is $5. the fish slices are indeed freshly cut and generous with a handful of bean sprouts and green chives. the least choice i would go for if the 3 stalls are not available. anyway, this stall famous food is their fish head steamboat. from friday to sunday their customers are so crowded that the coffeeshop have to extend out towards the grass patch area, two times.

YONG TAU FOO STALL

among all these stall, this is the most economical one with my ideal ingredients. some may find it normal and nothing to shout about. to me, its cheap (only for the price of $3.50 inclusive of noodles.) the sweet and chili sauce are just nice and perfect for me. we just click like that! with not much love and attention needed. in the night time, they will switch to fried bee hoon with other fried items. the night option will be never ever be my choice of dinner or supper. so, be wise, YTF is good!
